Here Moosey Moosey

As you all know, Jody is an avid hunter (ha, ha!), so it came as no surprise when he headed off to the Dungarvon for Moosehunt 2006 with team Dean. Of course the stories are already legend. It goes something like this:

"Art and Jared called out the swamp donkey, and with one shot to the arse in what sounded like Kabul, Afghanistan, one shot Dean prevailed. The victim was a 600 pound cow (no horns). The tenderloins are "some tender", and would go for $20 a pound at the grocery store (heck you could say they'd go for $100 a pound at the grocery store, since you can't buy it there)."

And with that, another moose hunt is under their belts, and they are already looking forward to moose hunt 2007. Jody claims you are pretty much guaranteed a moose at the Dungarvon. Come one, come all. They are trying to convince me to put in for my license next year. If I was a betting woman, I'd say the chances of that are slim to none. If you are opposed to hunting, or have a weak stomach, don't look at the next picture.















Jared brought Morgan her very own rocking moose from Calgary.















I just love this hat.




















My cousin Breanne had a horseback riding show today, so Morgan and I went to cheer her on. Morgan had a great time. I don't know whether she liked the horses, or just all the attention from my aunts, but either way, she had a ball.
