This and That

The kids were really excited for Easter this year. Morgan did her best even though she was fighting the flu.

And if you thought Jody was only into brainwashing our children into being Habs fans, you would be mistaken. He would also love to see them become Pats fans as well. They humour him, but Charlie refuses to wear the Q-T QBs jersey for more than a few minutes.

We went to the Fred Kid Fair today and the kids got their faces painted. They were pumped.

I just had to throw this one in since it's the cutest thing ever.

Surfin

The Wheatons invited us over to help celebrate the month of Jamie's birthday.

Sooo long February

As usual, with the arrival of the end of February in New Brunswick, comes the end of my good humour with the cold and snow. There have been major snow storms pretty much ever week, and the piles of snow keep getting higher. Despite all this, the kids still like to get out in the white stuff and play.














Jody is continuing his Habs brainwashing, which seems to be working.

Winter Fun

Marilyn and Howard hosted a family get together at the camp today. It turned out to be an absolutely beautiful day with sunshine and warm weather. We did lots of sliding.












Miss V. had her nap outside in her sled.












Jason brought a couple of snowmobiles (one of them is kid's sized). At first the kids wanted nothing to do with them, but after a little consideration they went for their first snowmobile and 4-wheeler rides.












Charlie couldn't get enough.












It was great to get the 2nd cousins together to play all day.

Jody's birthday

It's been a while since I've posted as life is hectic and there doesn't seem to be much time for the old blog lately. Anyway, if anyone is still out there, this is for you :)
Jody rang in his birthday recently with a little family celebration. He loves a fuss for his big day so much, so I tried to deliver.

Party #3

And the final party on the real day. I know the cake is hacked, but I couldn't go through with making another cake when there was so much left over. Morgan didn't seem to mind.

Charlie thought he would jump in and help Morgan open her presents. This was before he shocked himself on the Christmas lights. We like to keep things interesting around here.

Fall

We went to the Santa Claus parade last night and huge snowflakes fell the entire time. It was so pretty.













Jody and his mustache took a quick break from his studies to join us at the parade. We're on the final Movember countdown. It's for a great cause but I will be happy to have his clean shaven face back. :)
