Vancouver 2010

I was fortunate enough to go to Vancouver to work during the Olympics at Atlantic Canada House, which was a pavillion showcasing food and talent from the four Atlantic provinces. It ended up being wildly popular with lineups starting an hour before it opened in the morning and continuing all day long. The highlight was the New Brunswick Day of the Olympics where New Brunswick products, food and artists were front and center all day long. It was awesome!!! Besides that, the weather was gorgeous most of the time, the people were so friendly and there was fun to be had everywhere we went.
We rented a condo and this is the view from our balcony.

Julie, Weston, Jaida and Addison came for a few days and it was so great to see them.

Canadian pride was evident everywhere.

We snapped a picture of the cauldron through the wire fence.

Heather and I now work together which makes for even better work trips.

Here is Team NB on New Brunswick Day

I got to meet Jon Farriss, INXS drummer.

We took in a medal ceremony.

And I made my first trip to Whistler.

We even ended up in the background of an interview on CTV, and the kids got to see me on TV.

When I got home, we went to Art & Gloria's to watch the men's gold medal hockey game. Go Canada!!!!
