Sugarbush Weekend

This weekend was Sugarbush Weekend at King's Landing, and a group of about 20 of us decided to take it all in. We headed out for breakfast first, and then off to King's Landing. Everyone in town seemed to have the same idea, but we saw lots of people we knew.
Here is the sap being heated and poured into the snow.

Morgan decided she liked the sweet stuff and was wearing it from head to toe before long. It was all over her face, jacket, mittens and pants.

Easter

We were invited to the Keats' for supper on Good Friday. I thought that 7 kids would be chaos, but it was actually pretty tame. The adults had fun, the kids had fun, and no huge meltdowns happened. I caught these two bird trying to eat the easter eggs. I'm sure they didn't taste as good as they looked.

Of course, Morgan, being just like her mother, wanted to eat far before supper was ready.

The girls had costume changes before digging into lasagna.

Easter morning...

Morgan was a good little Easter egg hunter.

Marching along

Here is a shot at 24 weeks. There are some things that aren't so great about pregnancy like feeling nauseous, having food aversions, being tested, poked and proded by a doctor on a regular basis, no wine and generally feeling exhausted. However, now that I'm in my second trimester, I feel great overall, am eating fairly guilt free, am no longer nauseous or exhausted and am able to sleep through the night again. Several people a day ask me how I'm feeling, and people spontaneously carry things for me. Someone remind me of this post in another 10 weeks when I'm complaining of aches, pains and lack of sleep.

Morgan moved to her big girl bed a few weeks ago. At first she didn't want to make the move, but after lots of encouragement at home and daycare, she slept there on her second night and has been there ever since. She just figured out she can get out of the bed when she wants which makes nap time more of a challenge. Let's hope she's not ready to give up the nap just yet...

This seems to be her new squishy face smile picture pose. So cute.

Brush Your Teeth

Morgan decided she needed a boost to reach the sink while brushing her teeth. She goes and grabs her Dora chair each time. Very resourceful.

We said goodbye to uncle Jared last week. I think he just likes a going-away party ;)
Good luck!
