Play On Player

On Father's Day, we took a drive to the Country Pumpkin to see the animals and play on the jungle gym.

Morgan getting pretty close to this chick, chick, chicken.

This llama came over and was just waiting for us to get close enough to spit on us.

This past weekend, Tracey and Ava came over for a playdate. Ava is such a happy girl. She isn't walking quite yet, so Morgan got down and crawled with her. Now, Morgan crawled for the first time a couple of weeks ago (she always scooted on her butt), and Ava is a speed demon on all fours. As you can see, Ava left Morgan in her tracks.

Not sure if Morgan wanted to share her sippy cup or not...

Playdate

For all of you who think more pictures should be posted on this blog, brace yourselves!

Julie and Jaida are home for a visit from Kelowna, so we decided a playdate was in order.

Eric

Morgan and Jaida hit it off and were all giggles by the end of it.

Here is one of Morgan taking a spill. Check out the pig tail.

They even had kisses for one another.

Mya

Beautiful Ella with her newly pierced ears.

Kerri and Lucy

Baby Anna who is growing like a weed! I have never seen such thick hair on a newborn. She's got more hair than I do.

Nakhil is the sweetest little baby.

Erica and Owen even made an appearance.

We should do this more often.

June bug

Morgan had a busy weekend, spending a lot of it with her nanny Dean. Her father went 4-wheeling and I got to spend some time alone!

Morgan took in her first rugby game on Saturday. The Black Spruce played (and won). We watched a little, saw some friends and played with some rocks.

I thought I should take some pictures of my garden while it still looks good. If any of you know me, you know that I average about a week in keeping any plant alive. So, the fact that the house we bought was previously owned by a gardener is wonderful, but a little stressful for us rookies. We've been trying to stay on top of the weeding, and put some mulch down last week. So far so good. Other than the cedars that the deer ate through the winter, things are looking pretty good.

In addition to the beds shown here, we have 4 others.
