Paint This House

Jody and I tackled our first project as homeowners last weekend. We painted the office. Jody was given complete creative license on colour choice, since he'll be using this room most to study. I don't have any pictures yet, but should take some and post them... Anyway, I haven't taken any pictures lately, but here are a few from December.

This is Jody telling Morgan "You'll wear this party hat and like it!". Morgan responding "waaahhh!!!", and the hat came off.

This is Morgan opening her stuffed cat on Christmas morning, which she LOVED.

Cutie Pie

We've had our first weekend with nothing to do since we moved into our house. it's been great. Morgan and I went swimming on Saturday with the Keat's family, and we had a ball. She's been doing some more walking on her own and is getting more confidence all the time.

Morgan got a new hair clip. Jaida has one just like it and it is made with a magnet and covered in velvet so it stays in baby's hair and doesn't pull. It's called the No Slippy Hair Clippy, and I love it. Morgan looks so cute with this in her hair.

Here's the queen on her perch with one of her favourite toys - the remote.

2007

Instead of the 12 days of Christmas most people celebrate, we celebrate 24 days of Christmas at our house. Morgan's birthday is 12 days before Christmas, and Jody's birthday is 12 days after Christmas. We finally wrapped up all the celebrations, and can now sit on the couch and do a whole lot of nothing.

Here are a couple of pictures of Morgan in her yoga outfit.

We spent New Year's Eve at the Slipp's party which was a fun time.

Morgan had her first sleepover at her Nanna and Grandad McKinney's house which went really well. Mom said she was very brave. Since the New Year's Eve sleepover went so well, Morgan had her second sleepover the very next weekend on her dad's birthday at her other grandparent's house. Here is a picture of the birthday boy.

2006 was a year full of changes for us Deans, and I feel that it ended on a good note. Hopefully 2007 will bring us good fortune. I'm not one for making New Year's resolutions, but I would like to try to be better. It's pretty general and can encompass pretty much anything. I will try to be better one action at a time. Deep...
