Paparazzi

Well, I think I've taken too many pictures of Morgan since when she sees the camera, she gives me a huge smile and closes her eyes because she knows a flash is coming. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of her with her eyes open at the moment. I'll keep snapping away.

She has been doing a lot of changing lately. She has her first tooth, says mum (when she's mad), da-da and ma-ma. We've been going on long walks across the river and back with her nanny Dean who is on vacation, we've been to some play dates, and we've enjoyed dinners with friends and family. Gotta love summer.

Bud the Spud From the Bright Red Mud

With our PEI friends moving to Fredericton in a matter of weeks, we decided we had better get over to the Island for a visit while they were still there. We had a great time, and what a beautiful spot. We must be getting older, because we kept commenting on the beautiful scenery, and it reminded me of the scenic routes we used to take on family vacations when I was little (when all I wanted to do was get to our destination). The Keats are wonderful parents to William and Emily, and I aspire to be more like them.

We hit Cavendish beach, and a fun time was had by all. Morgan really enjoyed being around Emily and William. Thanks for your hospitality!

Beach Baby

Morgan is lucky enough to have grandparents who have a pool. Of course as with everything, it takes her a while to warm up to things. She found the water temperature a little cool, and was content to sit in a pool toy filled with water and toys. It was almost as good as the bath.

Laura is home for a visit this week, and she and her family were kind enough (and brave enough) to host a pool party/lunch for her friends and their little ones. In all I think there were 16 kids there. Morgan loved the 85 degree pool, and of course she loved seeing all her buddies.

Here are Campbell Stickles and Molly Bowen

Shanyn and I with our matching bathing suits :)

Morgan enjoyed hanging out with Laura, and Laura didn't even mind getting spit up on (sorry!).

Canada Day Weekend

We had a busy Canada Day weekend. Morgan got to play with Eric and Bella, and she went swimming in her grandparents pool for the first time.
