Our Trip

I packed up the kids and joined mom and dad for a trip to Maine last week while Jody stayed behind and wrote an exam. I was nervous to travel with both kids since they've never gone that far in the car before, but they made out great.

Cousin Ted came for a quick visit from Massachusetts and met the kids.

Morgan loved the pool.

And helping grandad make pancakes every morning.

Charlie's new trick is to blink when he sees the camera. I remember Morgan going through this stage at about the same age...

Snow Shoes

Morgan got snow shoes from Art and Gloria for Christmas, and they finally got out to test them out this past weekend. Morgan was a natural and really liked it. Uncle Jared is home for a visit and brought his snow shoes along too.

Again this year we have deer going through our backyard day and night. We're hoping they don't get through our burlap and into our cedars.

Stylin

Charlie sporting a new hat. Sooo cute. Morgan saw this picture and said he looked like Lucy's daddy. Well, for those of you who know Lucy's daddy, he often wears hats like this one.

Over the Hump

Now that March has arrived, I like to think that we are over the winter hump. Mother Nature doesn't seem to agree as the winter onslaught continues. They are calling for snow, freezing rain and ice pellets today. I don't know what the difference is between ice pellets and freezing rain but at this point I would prefer sun and sand. Anyone want to babysit our two little cuties while we get out of dodge??? They are really cute and Morgan listens some of the time :)

Morgan loves to pull Charlie in his sled. She yanks really hard, he jerks backwards and they both giggle.
