Why Won't You Listen to Me?

This is what happens when I decide to model new outfits on Morgan when she's missed a nap...

4 Months Old

Morgan turned 4 months old last week, weighs in at a whopping 11 lbs 13 ounces, and is 24 1/4 inches long.

Easter

There are a lot of firsts happening around here. Yesterday was Morgan's first Easter, and of course she made out like a bandit. She got a new Jolly Jumper from Nanny and Gramps Dean.




















She wore her first dress for Easter.




















She wanted to eat the bunny ears. Hopefully by next year she'll figure out that eating the bunny ears first applies to chocolate bunnies.

First Vacation

We went on our first road trip with Morgan over the weekend. Luckily, mom and dad came with us and were a great help. We packed as much gear into 2 cars as we could (and decided we need a bigger baby-friendly vehicle), and off we went. Morgan was a great traveller, and I think she'll be a big shopper when she gets a little older.

April Showers

I've been catching some grief about not keeping the blog updated, so here you go... Morgan is as cute as ever and has taken a bit of a growth spurt in the last week or so. She loves to get out and see lots of people. She holds her head up for quite a while when she's on her belly, she grabs anything she can and puts it in her mouth, she rolls on her side (not all the way over yet), and she still chats up a storm and blows bubbles.

Spring Ahead

Today we change the clocks and are subjected to Pam Anderson hosting the Junos. I only hope that next year we'll have a cooler Canadian hosting the show.

Miss Morgan has been BUSY lately with movies, playdates, a visit with Suzanne and Eric, walks with her friend Peyton and nanny McKinney. Today she had a visit from her grandparents and great grandmother Dean and Lionel. Tomorrow Morgan will meet another new friend, Francis. She and Francis spent a lot of time together before they were born, as we moms worked together and had due dates within a day of one another. With Jody spending a lot of time studying, and all our running around, we've been slacking with the picture taking, but here are a couple of recent ones.






















The weather has been great lately, and we've been getting out to enjoy it. One of the nice things about being up early with a little one is that we see great sunrises from time to time.
