Eric's 3rd Birthday Party
Eric celebrated his 3rd birthday this week and we were happy to be able to help him celebrate while Jody started painting the nursery. There were crafts, cake, presents, and a trip to the park.
The party didn't stop there. We stayed for supper and by that time the kids were pretty grimey, so we threw them in the tub.
The cutest thing ever...

Flood
We have a little monster that runs around the house on a regular basis making scarey sounds. I finally caught said goblin on camera.
Baby Rhykr returned our Bumbo chair, and it has become Morgan's new favourite thing. She carries it around from room to room, and up and down the stairs. She also LOVES the Scholastic flyers that she gets from daycare, and here she is in her Bumbo reading her flyer. This picture reminds me of her grandfather sitting reading the newspaper.
Fredericton flooded this week to levels that haven't been seen since before my time. Actually, the last time the Saint John river's banks swelled to this level was in May of 1973 at the time of my parent's wedding. It was pretty awesome to see, and since we work in the downtown area, we had a couple of days off work. We didn't have any problems out our house, but Jody's parents live close to the river and this is what it looked like on their street this past Thursday.
In addition to the "New Price" sign in the picture above, "Waterfront Property" should also be added.
