This and That

Morgan got a dollhouse for Christmas but we finally just picked it up and put it together this past weekend. I think its pretty awesome and would have loved something like this when I was little.

Both our kids have turned into good little eaters. Here is Charlie eating broccoli.

Young Charles has decided at the ripe old age of 19 months that he no longer needs a booster seat when he eats. For a while the beginning of each meal started with a screaming fit and lots of thrashing around. We finally figured it out. He wants to be just like everyone else and not restrained in some baby chair. Oh why oh why do I have 2 children with wills that are just as strong as my own??? Look at how pleased he is with himself to be sitting in a regular chair.

Skating

Morgan got out on skates for the first time last weekend. It was a beautiful day and she was in good hands with her father.

Sleepover

Morgan had Emily over for a sleepover a few weeks ago. It was the first time she'd had a friend sleepover and they made out great. They danced, played in the snow, played and read stories.

The only kink to iron out came at bedtime as Morgan is used to going to sleep with the door closed and lights off while Emily sleeps with the door ajar and lights on. After about a dozen trips up and down the stairs and some compromises, they finally drifted off.
