First Day of Kindergarten

It's hard to believe that our little girl is big enough to head off to school, but the time has arrived and she is now in kindergarten. We had a bit of a rough start to the first day, but since then she's been great and is really enjoying it.

Alberta

After months of anticipation, the east coast McDeans flew west. It was the first time the kids had been on a plane and they made out really well.

Jody and I got away for a night to celebrate our anniversary which was awesome!

We took in a lot of sights...

and squeezed in a wedding too!

Morgan, Charlie and Jody were all in the wedding, and everyone looked fabulous!

Welcome to the family Sara, and thank you both for showing us such a wonderful time. We miss you guys!

King's Landing

We went to King's Landing for their Agricultural Fair this Labour Day weekend. We took a horse drawn wagon ride.

...and some of us participated in a corn eating contest (congratulations Dad for coming in 2nd!). Atta boy!

We visited Perley House, which is the house my grandfather was born in.

A good time was had by all.
